Jodi joined Solstice Counseling & Wellness in July of 2019.

Jodi Gutierrez is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who specializes in individual therapy, marriage and family counseling, and child therapy.  Jodi’s passion is to bring hope and healing to each client through a non-judgmental, empathic approach with sensitivity and love.  Her focus is to explore the origin of challenges, seek understanding, and guide individuals towards more insight, self-discovery, and resolution.

Jodi completed her graduate training in Counseling from Northern Arizona University. Jodi’s experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse or neglect, behavioral and parenting issues,  relationship issues, and grief and loss.  Jodi is trained in EMDR, which is an evidence based form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. She is also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps couples gain secure attachments, rely on each other in times of need, and have vulnerable conversations. Jodi is a member of the American Counselor’s Association and the LDS Association for Counselors and Psychotherapists.
